The submission of an abstract is a prerequisite for submitting a full paper and for presenting a workshop.
The BME team of reviewers has checked the suitability of the abstracts for the conference theme. If your abstract has been accepted, you may submit a full paper until 30 April.
Abstract for Concept Paper
The abstracts for concept papers shall contain a maximum of 250 words (only the text without the title) and they shall address the following questions:
- why has this work been undertaken? (rationale for the work)
- what has been done? (scope of the work)
- how has the work been done? (methodological approach)
- what have you found so far? (main findings of the work)
- what does the work add to the Engineering Education field? (relevance, impact and perspectives)
Abstract for Research Paper
The abstracts for research papers shall contain a maximum of 250 words (only the text without the title) and they shall address the following questions:
- why has this research been undertaken? (rationale for the study)
- what has been done in that research? (scope of the study)
- how has the research been done? (methodological approach with special emphasis on research question and research design)
- what have you found so far? (data analysis and results)
- how does the work contribute to the Engineering Education Research field? (originality, relevance, impact and perspectives)
